These students have recently been rigorously tested on their knowledge of the appropriate techniques, knowledge and skills. Passing these test and enduring these trials they have achieved the next rank (Geup) designated by a color of belt and or belt tip.  Their hard work, perseverance and endurance should not only be congratulated but respected. 

Recommended Black Belt

These students have recently been tested and achieved the rank of black-belt (dan) designated by a unique combined color belt black on the top half, red on the lower half.

*Note:   When competing holders of this rank are treated as black belts, and are expected to conduct themselves accordingly.

 

Black Belt

These students have recently been tested and achieved the next rank of black-belt (Dan) designated by a color of belt and or gold tip (one tip per Dan).  Unlike color belt promotions, black belts continually test between each Dan test.  These CREDIT tests ensure that that they remain current and competent on techniques and required materials, all the while preparing for their next rank.

Note:  Black-Belt tests are held QUARTERLY!

  • Test fee includes new belt (or tip), CRMA Certificate, boards, requirement material and other expenses
  • All students must wear CLEAN white uniforms for testing.
  • All students are required to have patches (CRMA, USA, KOREA) sewn on their uniform to be able to take promotion test
  • If you fail the test, all or partially, the test fee is good until the following test
  • Dress at home:  If at all possible, dress in your uniform at home.  We will have limited space in the dressing rooms, as many students will promote the same day
  • INVITE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO COME AND WATCH YOUR TEST
  • BRING A CAMERA
